“I am very happy. I cannot hide my joy for winning this car.
“I bought groceries worth $50 from Spar Entumbane and I won this car. I am just happy,” she said.
Speaking on the sidelines of the draw Bellevue Spar manager Mr Stanford Mazura said the attendance of high powered dignitaries at the draw showed that it was authentic. “The presence of the dignitaries made people realise that the draw was genuine,” he said.
Mr Mazura promised a bigger promotion this year as the retail chain was celebrating its silver jubilee.
“I want to say for this year there will be more prizes and more cars to be won as we celebrate our silver jubilee that is 25 years of being in business,” he said.

He thanked Mr Rajesh Modi, the owner of the supermarket chain, for his continued support for the residents of the city and giving back to the community.
“Thank you for being part of the people and contributing to the development of Bulawayo. Raji Modi remembers that the people who are winning today are the ones who support his business,” Dr Nkomo said.
The supermarket chain was started by Mr Modi and his wife, Parul, in 1987.
Mr Modi now owns and operates seven supermarkets in the city – five of which are operating under the Spar franchise and two are independent.
