Mukarakate was on Friday arraigned before Gweru magistrate Ms Florence Nago facing a charge of stealing $46 246 from Mr Samair Ghattas. He was not asked to plead and was remanded to 3 February on $300 bail.
Mukarakate, who was represented by Mr Pasmore Mabukwa of Mabukwa and Attorneys, was ordered to remain at his given address and not to interfere with the State witnesses as part of his bail conditions.
