MISS Universe Zimbabwe, Lyshanda Moyas is calling on Zimbabweans and Africans worldwide to rally behind her by voting as the global competition intensifies in Thailand.
The 74th edition of the Miss Universe pageant has brought together some of the world’s most beautiful and purpose-driven women, all vying for the prestigious title. Among them, Lyshanda stands out, radiant, intelligent, and deeply proud to represent Zimbabwe.
Voting for the Miss Universe Fan Vote, which determines advancement to key stages of the competition, is now open, and Lyshanda is urging her fellow countrymen to make their voices count. People can vote via the official Miss Universe app.
“It’s time to raise our flag high. Every single vote matters. This is not just about me – it’s about Zimbabwe, Africa, and every young woman who dreams big. Let’s show the world our unity and pride.”
The 26-year-old model and philanthropist, who was crowned in Harare earlier this year, has quickly captured global attention in Bangkok, where she has spent the past week engaging in interviews, charity activities, and cultural showcases.
Her elegance, humility, and confidence have earned her admiration from fans and fellow contestants alike, with some international media outlets already dubbing her one of the “faces to watch” in this year’s competition.
“I am deeply moved by all the love and messages I’m receiving from home and beyond. To see people from countries I’ve never even been to saying they are voting for me – it’s humbling and powerful. It reminds me that beauty truly knows no borders,” she said in a recent post.
Support for Lyshanda has been strong across social media platforms, where hashtags like #VoteLyshanda, #MissUniverseZimbabwe, and #ZimbabweToTheWorld continue to trend as fans mobilise to ensure she secures a spot among the finalists.
As the countdown to the grand finale continues, Lyshanda remains focused on her mission: to inspire, unite, and uplift through grace and purpose.
“Zimbabwe has given me so much love. Now I want to give that love back by making everyone proud. Let’s vote together and make history.”
