Macheso dates Kwekwe

SUNGURA maestro, Alick Macheso, will be in Kwekwe today for a show slated for Gulez Gardens.

This will be Baba Shero’s second dance in the mining town after he gave a good account of himself when he performed at the same venue earlier this year. Orchestra Mberikwazvo publicity manager, Tich Makahamadze, said Extra Basso promises fans nothing short of a splendid performance.

“We promise the best out of Baba Shero and the band. We urge Kwekwe fans to come in their numbers as the man himself will be on top of the situation,” said Makahamadze.

Just like the previous time, Baba Shero is expected to belt out tracks from his latest offering Dzinosvitsa Kure as well as songs that made him a household name.

Show promoter, Abel “Yellow Malewa” Chakazama, said all was set for the show.

“We’re ready for the Macheso show and we’re raring to go as everything has been put in place for the gig. We urge all the fans to come to Gulez Gardens today for a once in a lifetime performance from Baba Shero,” said Chakazama.
