UNDISPUTED sungura king, Alick Macheso returns to Mutare tomorrow (Saturday) for a date with his legion of fans at the spacious joint, formerly known as Pick and Save.
It will be a special night for the sungura muso as he will be gracing his sons, Esau and Tatenda’s maiden album launch.
The album is titled “Pahukama Hwedu”.
Macheso will also be celebrating his 55th birthday on the night.
Veteran guitarist and singer, Progress Chipfumo, will support the three artistes.
He will be the first performer of the day and is expected to warm the stage with songs such as “Kuraper Mwana”, “Mangerengere”, “Ndivo Vanoziva” and “Garwe”.
Organisers of the show said the event starts at 8pm and admission will be US$5.

It is a local affair at the entertainment joint as sungura and dendera artistes, Elliot Oliver and Lamerk Mutero will be entertaining fans over the weekend.
Oliver will perform today (Friday), while Mutero will perform tomorrow.
Pole dancers led by Lady Shantie will entertain fans in the private lounge this weekend starting tonight.

He will perform with a full live band and is expected to play some songs from Tuku’s rich discography as well as his own compositions.

Situated in Mutare’s ZIMTA area, youthful DJ Yala will entertain fun lovers in the ghetto with an assortment of music this weekend, starting today.
He is expected to provide musical therapy to home team Acid Pool Club and their fans.
Rozvi
Versatile wheel spinners Ranga T and Guvenor will this weekend take turns to entertain social soccer enthusiasts, led by hosts Rozvi FC, on Saturday and Sunday.
Patrons will be treated to an assortment of beverages and meat.
