Machete of wizadry divides couple

IT sounds like a Nigerian movie but Rebecca Nkomo claims to be seeing lightning in her house because of a machete she brought from South Africa when she separated from her husband (name supplied).

It all began when she defied his simple instructions not to temper with the blade that he kept under the bed at home.

Nkomo claims she innocently took the machete and used it to clear their garden at home in Johannesburg but little did she know it was the beginning of trouble.

a�?He always warned me not to touch the machete because ita��s dangerous.A� One day when he was away I took it because I wanted to clear the garden. I thought his warnings were just empty threats but on the day that I touched it strange things started manifesting in the house and investigations later revealed that they were acts of satanism,a�? said Nkomo.

Nkomo claims her husband acted in a strange way when he got home.

a�?He started jumping up and down and his body became so flexible that he could lick his own elbows and lift himself up from the ground using his own hands,a�? said Nkomo.

She added that there was a time when he became normal and said he had been bewitched.

She claims that his story was incredible until an alleged member of the cult visited their home.

a�?A man claiming to be his friend came to our house complaining that my husband had not been to church in a long time. This surprised me because as a family we go to the same church but I had never seen that man before.

a�?Later on the man confessed that my husband was a member of their satanic cult. When I confronted him over the issue he beat me up before he chased me out of the house,a�? explained Nkomo.

Nkomo left Johannesburg for Bulawayo with the said machete and now ita��s giving her problems.

a�?At times the machete just starts burning from nowhere and produces lightning that strikes across the whole house. I am keeping it for cleansing purposes but ita��s dangerous,a�? said Nkomo.

She refused to give B-Metro her estranged husbanda��s mobile number.
