Madrid eye Laurent

LONDON. — Arsenal’s Laurent Koscielny has reportedly been made a priority transfer target for Real Madrid.

Madrid’s new boss Rafael Benitez tried to sign the French defender while in charge of Napoli, and has made him a priority target for the Spanish giants, according to reports in France.

Koscielny signed for the Gunners in 2010 for £8,45 million and has gone on to become an integral player for the north London side.

The 29-year-old still has two years remaining on his contract, and Arsene Wenger will surely be desperate to hold on to him given his importance to the side. — Metro.
