A SELF-STYLED prophet lost his Mercedes Benz while praying at his shrine in Hatfield on New Year’s Day.
Daniel Mutore, 44, popularly known as Madzibaba Enock, was approached by five unidentified men while he was seated in his parked silver Mercedes Benz.
He was ordered to sit at the back, driven to the National Sports Stadium where he was dumped.
The five men drove away in his car.
Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, confirmed the case.
“Police are investigating a theft of a motor vehicle in Hatfield.
“Total value stolen is US$5360 and nothing has been recovered,” said Insp Chakanza.
