Khiama Boys, will take to the stage with Kamadengera’s “Bright Stars” in a show to warm up revellers this winter.
This is not the first time Madzibaba has shared the stage with young artistes as well as helping them. Several of the country’s top musicians, among them Alick Macheso, Cephas Karushanga and the late System Tazvida have passed through his hands.
The sungura kingpin, who has 23 albums to his name, is expected to set the joint alight with his well-choreographed dances.
Kamadengera is working on a new album due for release later this year.
His first album titled “Takadini Africa” did not do well on the market but he, however, believes his upcoming “Tose Mudariro” with the single “Pamela” will put him in the spotlight.
The Chitungwiza-based Madzibaba recently announced plans to set up a music academy to assist upcoming musicians to realise their dreams.
In pursuit of his dream, Madzibaba has called upon fellow artistes and well-wishers, particularly the business community, to support him in his ambitious project.
Kamadengera is also slated to share the stage with Madzibaba in Chinhoyi on as yet undisclosed date.
