WORLD renowned and three-time winners of the South African Music Awards – Mafikizolo are billed for an explosive Harare shindig next month.

Also billed for the concert is one of South Africa’s youngest and most successful rappers K.O who co-runs and is affiliated to a music and entertainment company called Cash Time Life.

The concert is pencilled for Belgravia Sports Club in the capital on August 27, where local superstars Judgement Yard, DJ Stavo, Jah Prayzah, Winky D and Junior Brown, among others, will also perform.

Show organiser, DJ Dee Nosh said all logistics have been put in place.

“All is in place and the show is and will be one of the best of all time to be held in the country. This is a must attend for all,” he said.

He said Mafikizolo was the main attraction for the event and that the duo would be performing to a live band.

“They’re one of the most sought-after duos from this region and in line with our vision to promote arts locally, regionally and internationally, we’ll host shows that will fuse both local and international artistes with the hope of forging relationships and partnerships musically.”

Advance tickets have been pegged between $5 and $15 each. On the day of the event, they will be sold for $10 and $20.
