Gospel musician, Minister Michael Mahendere, drew a full house in Bedford – United Kingdom, over the weekend during his Messiah Tour, hosted by Grateful Events.

The show that brought together Zimbabweans and gospel lovers from across the UK, was described as a success by both fans and the organisers.

The event was promoted by Grateful Events founder, John Makombe, who has earned a reputation as one of the most promising new promoters in gospel entertainment.

“The show was a success beyond expectations,” said Makombe. “We are grateful to everyone who came out to support. This is just the beginning — there is more to come as we continue to uplift gospel music globally.”

Grateful Events has grown to become a brand in the diaspora, having hosted several top local and regional acts, including Mahendere, The Cherayis, Takesure Zamar, and other international gospel ministers.

His consistency and professionalism have earned him praise from both artists and fans who say he has brought new life to gospel promotion.

Minister Mahendere, whose performance electrified the Bedford crowd, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support.

“I am humbled and excited to see how people in the UK responded to the message of the Messiah Tour,” he said. “We are continuing the journey in other countries as we build up to the Outcry Concert this December back home. God is doing something powerful through this season.”

The Messiah Tour, known for its high-energy worship and deeply spiritual message, has become one of Minister Mahendere’s most impactful international missions. Judging by the full attendance and atmosphere in Bedford, the message of worship and unity continues to resonate — both at home and abroad.
