SOCIALITE and events planner, Wanisayi “Mahwindo” Mutandwa, says she feels honoured to be coordinating philanthropist Brighton “Pan Jap” Ushendibaba’s 36th birthday.

The birthday celebrations will be held tonight at Habhana Lounge where Harare’s big spenders are set to grace the event.

Judgement Yard, Kikky and Raydizz are set to perform at the event with Chief J hosting the birthday boy.

In an interview with H-Metro, Mahwindo said it was an honour coordinating such a big event.

“Pan Jap is a nice person who has done a lot for me, artists, soccer players and their coaches.

“I have learnt true love from him because he is a true philanthropist who has a good heart of giving and sharing,” she said.

Mahwindo, who has never disappointed when it comes to events management, added:

“People like Pan Jap are hard to come by nowadays because he is a unique guy with a good heart of giving  and sharing.

“Many people have benefited from him and it is high time that we celebrate his achievements with him.”

In interview, Pan Jap said he was ready for the big day.

“I will be turning 36 on Friday (today) and my message is for people to work hard all the time.

“We want a new generation of hard workers who can help us build the nation and create a new culture of love and sharing,” he said.

Pan Jap, who has sponsored several top artists’ album launches, said giving runs in his DNA.

“I was born like that and I feel there is a need to share with others what we get in life.

“In my case, I was also helped by others and I feel compelled to share what I have with others.

“However, we need to work hard to ensure that we have enough to share,” he said.

Pan Jap is one of the young tycoons making waves through philanthropic work.

He is also an astute businessman doing well in various  fields.
