AFTER the chaos of last season, CAPS United are in a different space right now and club president Farai Jere, said Hastings Chapusha, is their final addition.
The 26-year-old defender was club hunting, after his return from South Africa, where he spent three months with Motsepe Foundation Championship side, JDR Stars.
It remains unclear as to what went wrong in Mzansi but his arrival has been hailed by the Green Machine fans.
It appears coach Lloyd Chitembwe wants silverware this year.
He has also added seasoned forward, King Nadolo, onto his fire power.
Nadolo’s move means he has joined the elite list of players who have played for the country’s Big Three – CAPS, Dynamos and Highlanders.
The list has players like Stephen Alimenda, Valentine Ndaba, Munyaradzi Diya, Rodreck Mutuma, Stewart Muriwa and Newman Sianchali.
Nadolo revealed that he turned down many offers before going Green.
He insisted he saw CAPS United as the best platform to take his career to another level.
“I’m excited with this move, CAPS United is one of the best teams in the country and it feels good to be part of this family.
“It’s not like I had no other option but I joined this team because I saw something unique about them.
“There is quality and the coach is also someone who knows how to get the best from his players and it’s something which made it easy for me to take the opportunity.”
He said he feels blessed to be on the list of players who have been in the dressing rooms of the country’s big three teams.
“It’s something which challenges me to do more and it makes me feel blessed. This will even push me to the limits to deliver for the fans because I’m not here to talk about what I have done in the past but I’m here to give the fans what they are expecting.
“I can’t wait to get started and I’m already feeling at home since I have worked with some of the players at this club before.”
CAPS United have also signed midfielder Tanaka Koni, who will fill the juniors slot, from Guruve United.
