Ghana’s Vera Sidika and musician Sarkodie, Nigeria’s music sensation Iyanya of Kukere fame and Dammy Krane, Kenya’s Shaffie Weru and Oj Oballa.
According to the page, producers of the show are yet to decide on bringing back celebrity housemates.
“ . . . The option of bringing celebrities is still being debated upon by the producers. Some celebrities considered are: Desire Luzinda/Jackie (obessions), Kanye Mbau, Makosi Musambasi, Vera Sidika/Sarkodie, Nigeria’s Inyanya/ Dammy Krane, Shaffie Weru/Oj Oballa,” the Facebook page reads.
However, Makosi who put up a shameless act in the United Kingdom’s version of Big Brother denied auditioning for Big Brother Africa held at the Rainbow Towers recently.
In an interview with New Zimbabwe, Makosi said it was suicidal to enter the show and that Big Brother “does not feature in my master plan”.
“When I want to commit suicide, I will audition for Big Brother,” she said.
Despite being spotted queuing for auditions, Makosi gave incoherent statements regarding the issue. At first she claimed she had gone to the Rainbow Towers to have breakfast before making a U-turn saying she was out of the country on the day of the auditions.
The bald Makosi is never short of surprises. Just recently she was rumoured to have inked a deal with a South African TV channel to host a chat show. Lately, she has been in Nigeria where she posted pictures living it up.
According to figures released by M-Net Africa who screen Big Brother, the show hit the one million likes on Facebook indicating the show’s growing popularity. Big Brother Africa Season 8 is scheduled to start on May 26.
