JOHANNESBURG. — Zimbabwe international striker Cuthbert Malajila is on the shortlist for the KickOff Footballer of the Season for the 2014-2015 season.The hard-running forward was impressive as Mamelodi Sundowns finished runners-up in the ABSA Premiership race.
“At the start of the month we started a poll on our Greatest Ever platform asking readers to narrow down our list of 16 nominees to eight, and you chose Mandla Masango, Lehlohonolo Majoro, Mulomowandau Mathoho, Oupa Manyisa, Tefu Mashamaite, Andile Jali Cuthbert Malajia and Thulani Hlatshwayo,” KickOff said on their website
“That means big-name players like Teko Modise, Tsepo Masilela and Dean Furman have missed out on the final vote, along with PSL stars Cole Alexander, Thabo Mnyamane, Rivaldo Coetzee, Thuso Phala and Dove Wome.”
