Minister Titus Maluleke said the resistance by white conservancy operators in the Save Valley Conservancies called for Government to intervene and help the indigenous players to claim their stake in the sector.
Governor Maluleke said he recently met Deputy Prime Minister Authur Mutambara over the Save Valley Conservancy saga.
He briefed him that indigenous people from Masvingo who were last year offered hunting quotas at the wildlife-rich conservancy wanted resistant white conservancy operators moved out. DPM Mutambara is the chairperson of a Cabinet committee that is seeking a solution to the problems bedevilling the Save Valley Conservancy since last year.
