Man caught with two kilogrammes of dagga

A 21-YEAR-OLD man was caught with two kilogrammes of dagga at a roadblock in Bubi District in Matabeleland North province.

Confirming the incident on X, national police spokesperson commissioner Paul Nyathi said Lenin Gatsi was arrested on 27 October 2024 for unlawful possession of dagga after the police intercepted a cross-border bus at a security checkpoint.

“On 27 October 2024 members of the police deployed on operation, no to cross border crimes, intercepted a cross-border bus at a security checkpoint in Bubi and arrested a passenger, Lenin Gatsi (21) in connection with unlawful possession of two kilogrammes of dagga,” said Comm Nyathi said.
