A HARARE man applied for a protection order against his two sons accusing them of insulting and harassing him.
Robson Hlabani took Arnold and Ronald Mutetwa to the Harare Civil Court for disturbing his peace by constantly insulting and assaulting him.
Hlabani said his sons take drugs and sell his property for money to satisfy their addiction.
“They threaten to stab me to death. One time these two rascals sold steel meant for building a certain structure as well as my geyser,” said Hlabani.
He also accused Arnold and Ronald of assaulting their mentally ill stepmom, whom they referred to as his girlfriend.
Ronald and Arnold were not in court and magistrate Tamara Chibindi granted Hlabani the protection order in default.
