Man commits suicide over prostitute

HE had a nice time and wanted her for keeps but when she turned him down and he chose to hurt her before taking his own life.

The late Donald Trust (21) from Langeni Village stabbed Modester Zhou on the shoulder after she rejected his marriage proposal.

Zhou, understood to be a lady of the night, had sex with Trust for a fee upon which Trust, a married man, decided he would love to have her for a second wife.

She, however, turned him down and out of anger he stabbed her.

Zhou narrated the issue to B -Metro.

a�?Trust was my regular client and surprisingly he wanted me to become his second wife but I refused.A� He then assaulted me with fists and stabbed me with a knife.A� I collapsed and regained consciousness at Mnene hospital,a�? she said.

It is reported that when Trust got news that police were hunting for him, he fled only to be found dead on the bank of Gwengwena Dam a few days later.

A senior police officer at Mberengwa police station said Trust could have committed suicide because he feared arrest.

a�?We are still carrying out investigations, but we suspect the suicide was triggered by fear of arrest and that Trust might have thought he had murdered her,a�? he said.

Trusta��s aunt Beauty Hove, said they were left with unanswered questions.

a�?We dona��t know what happened and ita��s sad that he cannot say his side of the story,a�? said Hove.
