Man found with 40g crystal meth

A 45-year-old man was arraigned in court after being found in possession of 40g crystal meth.

Isaac Shajawabaya was not asked to plead when he appeared before Harare magistrate Dennis Mangosi, and he was remanded in custody to today for bail application.

Allegations are that on Monday, detectives deployed in the central business district received information that Isaac was distributing crystal meth.

The detectives spotted Isaac walking along Kenneth Kaunda and confronted him.

He voluntarily handed them a sealed box and detectives recovered a 40g packet of crystal meth and arrested him.
