The remaining six months were suspended on condition that he performs 140 hours of community service at Entumbane High School.
During sentencing, the court took into account the fact that the complainant, Silethokuhle Moyo, had since forgiven the accused and had stated that she was only left in shock as she had not expected the accused to behave in that manner.
Circumstances are that sometime in December 2024, in Entumbane suburb, the accused slapped the complainant on the face and bit her on the arm after an argument over an unknown issue.
