A 30-YEAR-OLD man from Chinhoyi has been sentenced to three years in prison for sexually abusing his niece (13).
The incidents occurred between September 2024 and February 2025, when the victim’s grandmother caught the accused with the victim, leading to his arrest.
According to the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ), the victim was medically examined, and the evidence presented in court resulted in the accused’s conviction.
