A 27-YEAR-OLD man lost a tooth in a brutal attack by six robbers just after the Mbare flyover on Tuesday evening.

Nyasha Kapfumvuti was walking home from town, at around 7pm when the thugs ambushed him.

Narrating his ordeal to H-Metro, Kapfumvuti said he was still traumatised by the brutality.

“I was walking home from town, around 7pm, when six men pounced on me near Mupedzanhamo Market.

“They attacked me and I tried to fight back, but they were ruthless and knocked out my tooth.

“I managed to escape and scaled a precast wall into a churchyard to seek refuge.”

He added:

“I was fortunate that they didn’t take anything from me, but they beat me up badly.

“I regret risking my life by walking in that area after dark.

“I was told similar incidents have occurred at the same place.”

He made a police report and was referred to Sally Mugabe Central Hospital for treatment.
