Nhlanhla Kabusi Moyo (25) of Zimbabwe Republic Police New Highfield Camp was not formally charged when he appeared before Harare magistrate Mr Shane Kubo-nera who remanded him in custody today.

The complainant was taken to Parirenyatwa Hospital where she was treated and later discharged.

A report was made leading to the arrest of Moyo the same day.
Police recovered the knife that was allegedly used in the commission of the offence. A medical affidavit obtained from Parirenyatwa Hospital will be used as an exhibit in court.
