A HARARE man urinates on food and clothes each time he gets drunk, the Harare Civil Court heard yesterday.

Caroline Kasirori said her husband, Ronald Majonga, was giving the family a torrid time by his behaviour.

“My husband is in the habit of bed-wetting,” she said.

“He also urinates on clothes and food, which I work hard for, each time he gets drunk. I can’t stand it anymore since I do everything by myself,” she complained.

In response, Ronald admitted to his wife’s charges.

“I blame it on alcohol for all the bad things I have been doing.

“I have since repented as I would like to live happily with my wife and children,” he said.

He then accused his wife of disrespecting him.

“I want my wife to acknowledge me as the head of the family.

“I do not have to do my own laundry, cook for myself and sleep in the dining room.

“Whenever I try to be intimate with her, we get physical and wrestle until she gives in at last,” he added.

Magistrate Machingura granted Caroline the protection order and advised her to seek professional counselling.
