MUTARE Premiership outfit, Manica Diamonds continues to lure home grown talent after securing the services of slippery striker, Ticha Mabvura from Ngezi Platinum.

The former Dynamos forward, who was born and bred in the Mazhambe section of Sakubva, becomes the second player to retrace his steps back to his hometown after Pasca Manhanga recently sealed a similar deal with the Gem Boys.

Manica Diamonds’ chairman, Masimba Chihowa, said: “Yes, I can confirm that we now have Ticha Mabvura on a two-year contract with us at Manica Diamonds. He is one person who needs no introduction to football followers in Mutare and we do not doubt his ability to add value to our team.”

The Mutare-based outfit, which ended the season on fifth position in their maiden Premiership season in 2019, will be hoping for yet another impressive show when league action resumes early next month.
