NORMAN Mapeza says they are not under pressure going into the battle for top spot against Chick-en Inn.
The champions will date the Gamecocks on Saturday.
The two teams are separated by just a point at the top.
“It’s a game of football and Chicken Inn are on top of us with a point and we will go there looking for a positive result.
“I don’t think, between the two teams, if one of us wins the game, it will decide the destiny of the championship.
“There will still be many to be played.
“We are just going to go there, looking for a positive result,” he said.
He added:
“If you look at our past results, we’ve never lost to them in Bulawayo.
“We don’t want to put ourselves under pressure, everybody knows where we are coming from and the project we are having here.
“We are not looking for much but just to concentrate on each game as it comes then we will see how it goes at the end of the season.
“Chicken Inn have been winning their games and deserve to be on top of the log.
“It shows the good job Joey Antipas and his technical bench are doing, the effort and hard work they’re putting in week in, week out, that’s why they’re on top of the log.”
Mapeza said there was still a lot of ground to be covered in the championship race.
“In football you never know, whoever wins on Saturday doesn’t mean they are guaranteed to win the championship,” he said.
“Dynamos and Manica are also in the race.”
