Maposa confident of victory

Botswana, Lesotho, Zambia, Zimbabwe and the host Namibia — competing in several sporting disciplines.
Zimbabwe will field boys and girls teams in football, basketball and volleyball and netball, which feature girls only. The team is expected to leave this morning.

The teams were selected during various competitions held by the respective sporting disciplines with the basketball teams picked during the national inter-provincial tournament held in Mutare in July. The teams have been camping at Northlea High School in Bulawayo and Maposa said they hope to raise the country’s flag high when they battle it out with teams from other countries.
