Marketers Association of Zimbabwe (MAZ) will today have an auction sale for golfers and members to fundraise for the welfare of prisoners in Mashonaland West.

The auction sale will be held at the ZRP Golf Club in Harare and is targeting to raise US$5 000.

They want to buy blankets and toiletries for the inmates in Mashonaland West under the theme “Prison Campaign”.
In an interview, Marketers Golf Society chairman Mr More Moyo said their aim was to assist the underprivileged in the society.

“We have been doing this for years, but we first identify an area of need then we work trying to minimise their difficulties,” he said.

“In this case, we have seen that prisoners also need our support so we have decided to fundraise for Mash West inmates. We are also sure that for the next three years we will continue assisting inmates in all provinces.”
Last year, MAZ fundraised different basic commodities, including lotions, for people living with albinism.
