Mash West celebrates Workers’ Day

Workers’ unions and representatives in various sectors of the economy are leading Workers’ Day celebrations at Gadzema Grounds in Chinhoyi.

Employees in the energy, agriculture, education, mining and security sectors, among others, are celebrating the day.
The unions are calling for improved working conditions and remuneration.

Several activities, including solidarity speeches from the Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU) and its affiliates, music from Zimdancehall artist Preacherman, netball and football matches are lined up.
