Masibera clocks 160 matches for Gem Boys

MANICA Diamonds right back Lawrence Masibera pocketed US$1 000, his potrait, club replica jersey and a match ball for reaching 160 matches for the Mutare Castle Lager Premier Soccer League outfit.

 

Masibera, who has been with the club since it’s one-year stint in the ZIFA Eastern Region Football League Division One League, is the Gem Boys’ longest player.

 

The former La Sakubva Juniors player has been a vital cog in the the squad’s machine, featuring in almost every competitive encounter the team has played.

 

Club chairman Masimba Chihowa and secretary general Sugar Chagonda presented the token of appreciation for Masibera’s loyalty to the club just before kick-off of their league encounter against CAPS United today.
