The Mama singer who hails from Tsholotsho said the forthcoming show is one that is in response to requests from local fans for him to hold a concert in the city.

“Bulawayo is a special place for me as part of my musical success comes from there. These are the people who’ve made sure that my music remains relevant as they’ve voted my songs to music charts on local radio stations and need to be thanked for that.

“A lot of people have asked me to stage a show in Bulawayo and I’m ready to give them a performance of a lifetime,” he said.

Zinjaziyamluma is one of the pioneers of the Maskandi genre in Zimbabwe since the genre is of Zulu origin.

The artiste who sings in IsiNdebele said rehearsals for the show are going on well.

He said he is pleased to be performing alongside Amaqaqa an Imbube ensemble on the ascendency, as well as rhumba artiste Godolude.

“It brings me great joy to see that things are falling in place. We’re working tirelessly to make sure that we give our fans what they deserve. Performing with my brothers Amaqaqa and Godolude is just the cherry on top.

“Attendees should expect to see me performing songs which include SingamaNdebele, Imali, Ebunandini and Umzonde wedwa,” said Zinjaziyamluma.
