posted on his Facebook page shows Maskiri in the background of two male lions which had pounced on a shark gasping for air. The picture is accompanied by the words “Mhondoro — tinodya maShark”.
The two have been at loggerheads since the release of Stunner’s “Team Hombe” album in which he described Maskiri as a spent force.
In the song Stunner raps: “Kana usina space deleta Maskiri ndikusendere . . .”
Music critics were quick to point out the latest “diss” could signal yet another war of words between the foul-mouthed rapper and swagmaster Stunner, who is affectionately known for his trademark maShark from his chart topper “Godo” featuring BaShupi.
The two contrasting rappers — one who loves to “flaunt” his bucks and another who is scruffy and mischievous, have previously battled out lyrically, of course, and it emerged that Stunner had upped his game spawned by the hit “Godo”.
On the other hand, Maskiri was basking in the glory of his new track “Wenera” featuring Nox Guni which was at the time a club banger. Prior to the clash held at City Sports Bar last year, Stunner openly declared that he would quit booze and sex if Maskiri wins the battle for supremacy. However, Maskiri was beaten to it in a typical Jay Z-Nas style where Hov sold more copies of his CD than Nas.
