Masomere confident of victory

play at home,” said Masomere.
“He heard my prayers and my aim is to qualify for the next round, which will be a bigger improvement from last season.
“They (Hwange) must be happy of playing us again for the third time and I know they think they can beat us or they feel they now have a winning strategy but I have something more in store for them.
“I have been to Hwange as a coach and I know their weaknesses which I will not divulge for now.”
Tafadzwa Mombeshora and  Pervington Zimunya scored for Shabanie while Hwange replied through Malvern Longwe.
Hwange believe they can win tomorrow.
“We want to go far in the competition and maybe represent the country again next season so we are going to give it everything all despite playing away from home, “said the coalminers’ skipper Rodwell Chinyengetere.
His coach, Nation Dube, said it was time for a change of fortunes.
“We are playing a Cup game and we are going to Maglas to play our normal game and the better team of the day will go through,” said Dube.
The other Zvishavane side, FC Platinum, are in Kariba today for a clash against plucky Harare City.
“FC Platinum are playing very well but this is a Cup game,” said Harare City coach, Bigboy Mawiwi.
“We have no pressure at all because this is our first Cup game in our debut year.
“We respect our opponents and we are going to Kariba to have fun and who knows we might find ourselves with a win.”
The Sunshine City Boys lost a league to defending champions Dynamos with a late strike from Ocean Mushure on Wednesday.
“We are not going to rest. I am travelling to Kariba tomorrow (today) without having trained so there are no preparations for us,” said Mawiwi.
FC Platinum have hit good form and were impressive in their 4-0 destruction of Quelaton at Luveve on Tuesday.
But the platinum miners might be affected by having to travel a longer distance to Kariba, than Harare City, in the week that they also had another away assignment in Bulawayo.
Coach, Tendai Chikuni, said his boys were ready for the test.
“It is a Cup game and we have a different approach. The place is a hot area and we will change our game plan on Saturday.
“My guys know what is at stake we are taking the match very seriously and the game means a lot to us.
“Weather will not be very favourable to any team. It is my desire to lift the Cup and we need to fight to achieve that. We will be taking each game as it comes,” said Chikuni.
Former Motor Action midfielder Allan Gahadzikwa picked up a knock in a match against Quelaton and was expected to pass a late fitness test.
