Luke Masomere has been appointed new coach at struggling Bulawayo side How Mine.
Masomere is believed to have signed a six-month contract whilst he was attending a CAF A Licence course in the capital. His task is to save the gold miners from relegation.
“I am leaving for How Mine tomorrow morning (today) to sign a contract and I will assume my duties immediately,” Masomere said.

“I am leaving for How Mine because that is where the grass is green at the moment. I was at a grey if not black area (Buffaloes) where I could  not see the future and there was no vision.

“I am happy they supported me since I was staying in a hotel, eating good food and I was not even washing my clothes since the hotel personnel were doing that for me. People in Mutare loved me and one day I will be back,” he said. Masomere has been a nomadic coach. “Our country has challenges and everyone is affected. What Buffaloes were doing was not intentional but that is the situation in the country at the moment since money is hard to come by.”
