Masomere promises fireworks

“I just hope that Erea (Phiri) Phillip (Sithole) and Blessed (Mbavarira) will have recovered as I am only starting training today (yesterday) late in the afternoon,” said Masomere.
“I am not a Dynamos assistant coach so I will not assist them. I really want to do my best when we are playing a team that I coached and people should know that it’s not a crime to support DeMbare. Rooney (Wayne), a Manchester United player, supports Everton and Robin Van Persie supports Arsenal and when they meet the teams they support they will score goals and so it is the same when Vahombe meets the Glamour Boys.”
Masomere’s charges have just picked one point out of six in their last two matches after losing to Bosso and drawing against Black Mambas at home.
Vahombe feels the draw against Mambas was a loss. “I lost two games in a row to Bosso and Mambas. Drawing with Mambas was a defeat to me and I can’t afford to continue losing points. I am appealing to the fans to bring their families and relatives because we are brothers with all the teams in the Premiership. When Shabanie plays there are no insults but a friendly atmosphere will be prevailing. We are the leading team in that aspect and I urge other clubs to emulate us.”
Masomere says the performance of his players has surprised him.
“My players can run the whole day on a good day to the extent that one will think that they take cocaine or other drugs,” said Vahombe.
Shabanie has never found joy in Harare when playing Dynamos except for once on the 29th of September 2001 when the late Thomas “Chaurura” Makwasha’s strike beat Gift Muzadzi in the BP Cup final at the National Sports Stadium.
