Mat North to get 3 new courts

THE Judicial Service Commission (JSC) is constructing three court buildings in Matabeleland North province and work is expected to be completed in six months time.Provincial magistrate, Enias Magate last week handed over the construction site in Victoria Falls to the contractor. He has already handed over sites to contractors in Nkayi and Binga districts.

“We came here to hand over the project to the contractor and we’ve done the same in Binga and Nkayi. Work on the court building in Lupane will be undertaken in the second phase,” said Magate.

JSC got funding from the Danish government which is assisting in the programme to improve the justice delivery system in the country.
