MEDIAC BHADA LAMENTS FINANCIAL WOES

UPCOMING musician Mediac Bhadaa says financial challenges have prevented him from releasing an album over the past few years.

Bhadaa said he has only released singles, including his recent release titled “Zvatondishamisawo.”

He said his new song is inspired by a heartbreak.

He revealed the song was influenced by a real life story.

“The song tells a story of love, longing, and heartbreak from seeing the one you love with someone else.

“I got the idea of the song after one of my friends found himself in a similar situation.

“The song is meant to comfort the friend and others who have gone through such a situation.

“l was trying to express how it feels to be in love with someone then they eventually disappoint you all of a sudden.

“On this track l was trying to express and preach to people not to get into a relationship with expectations of living a good life.

“I have worked with Gangstermadeit Movement on all my projects and I also worked with a Zambian-based producer Kenny Dee on a song that features Zambia’s Rich Bussy.

“Currently I’m being managed by Big Tutu and we are being supported by Resilience GZE.

“He has done a lot to facilitate my recordings, I’ve also received a lot of support from my father as well Mr Cephas Makwarimba.”

He grew up in Kutama where he did his primary education before moving to South Africa where he did his secondary education.

He started his music journey in 2010 but only released his first song in 2018 titled ‘Tsvodi’ through Nolimits Entertainment.

He followed it up with another single titled ‘Musango,’ a year later.

He said his breakthrough came in 2019 when he was invited to perform at the official opening of the Harare Agricultural Show.
