ZIM dancehall stalwart, Dhadza D, and his counterpart Andy Muridzo, have made a vow to save young people from drug abuse.
The two artists, who thrilled fans at the just-ended Independence Music Concert, feel a red line has been crossed in the drug menace in this country.
“We have tried our best to raise awareness against drug and substance abuse, but it seems our efforts are falling on deaf ears.
“It’s now time for us to take action and address this issue once and for all.
“The President has always been clear on the issue and the ball is now in our court to ensure that drug peddlers are busted.

“We can’t allow this to go on while we do nothing. The police need to set up teams and raid drug lords’ bases,” said Muridzo.
Similar sentiments were echoed by Dhadza D.
“I come from the ghetto where many young people have resorted to drug abuse.
“Of course, they will always complain that we don’t have jobs but where are they getting money to buy drugs?
“We need to expose the people selling drugs and make sure they are jailed,” he said.
