REGISTRATION for this year’s Champion of Champions netball tournament scheduled for Zimbabwe International Trade Fair will be done on Friday.
According to Zimbabwe national men’s netball chairman Tawanda Chidzombwa, the process will be followed by the games the next day.
“At the same time, we are also calling upon members of the public to come in huge numbers to witness exciting netball to be played on the day,” said Chidzombwa.
Participants have been drawn from six provinces. The league boasts of 26 registered teams, a clear indication of the inroads it has made since its inception a few years ago. As part of efforts to promote the game the tournament is played at different places across the country. In recent years, a national select team has toured Botswana and Zambia.
