A 54-YEAR-OLD man allegedly caught red-handed having sex with a donkey is to undergo a mental examination.
Misheck Ncube’s alleged romp with the animal was interrupted by neighbour, Dokotela Mlala, of Insuza.Ncube appeared before Bulawayo provincial magistrate Sibongile Msipa facing a charge of bestiality last Friday.
He was remanded out of custody to November 28 for a mental examination by two doctors under the Mental Health Act.
Prosecuting, Taurai Hondoyemoto said Mlala was heading to his homestead when he deviated into the bush “so that he could attend to nature’s call” on November 13 this month.
While relieving himself, the court heard, Mlala saw Ncube “sexually abusing the animal in the bush”.
Mlala ran towards Ncube and demanded an explanation, according to Hondoyemoto. Ncube tried to fight Mlala but he was overpowered and taken to a neighbourhood watch committee member who arrested him.
