valuable lessons from participants from other countries.
The championships were held in Vienna, Austria, from November 1 to 7 with athletes from across the world taking part.
Moore, who was making her debut appearance at the competition, secured her place after winning the Ms Pro-Fitness bikini and fitness competition last month.
She raised the country’s flag high as she finished in third place.
The 27-year-old arrived in the country last Friday and said taking part in the championships was a learning opportunity.
“It was a good experience and I was overwhelmed because I was away by myself, otherwise I enjoyed it.
“I learnt a lot from other competitors, a few new tips not much from what I was taught here in Zimbabwe.
“Jean and Otis Goredema were really great and never underestimate Zimbabwe.
“I am very happy, it was a pleasant surprise to come third. I went there to learn and to get the experience at international stage. I am really proud I went there to represent Zimbabwe, it was my first time in the competition,” said Moore.
Moore said her focus was on defending her Ms Pro-Fitness title next year but for now will concentrate on her career.
“My aim is to compete in the All-Africa in Zimbabwe next year, I am under pressure to defend this title. I will work much harder, now that I have been there I now need to improve. I would like to compete in
South Africa as well. They have serious competition and they had a big team at the World championships. For now I have got a career to focus on, it’s good to be back home,” said Moore.
Moore, who is a pilot, paid tribute to her sponsors, Motor Torque and her parents for supporting her and said she would not have made it if it was not for their support.
Her trainer, Goredema, said he was proud of Moore’s achievements.
“She is very focused. I am very glad that from the moment I saw her I chose her because I saw that she was hungry for success. She exceeded expectations. I love to work with her,” added Goredema.
