GOSPEL musician, Mathias Mhere, hosted a Thanksgiving show at Harare Gardens on Saturday before a bumper crowd.

Fellow gospel artists – Sabastian Magacha, Dorcas Moyo, Jonah Chivasa and Peace Gospel Singers Choir – performed at the same event.

Speaking to H-Metro, Mhere said it was his wish to get all gospel artists to perform under one roof.

“As gospel artists, we aim to preach the word of God as a united front.

“It was my desire to have other gospel artists in Zimbabwe to perform at this Thanksgiving show but, due to their other schedules, they could not be here.

“We are happy that we have resumed shows and we are taking the new album abroad, as I will be having shows in the UK in September.

“I appreciate my fans for the support they have been giving my new album, especially the song Acharwa Ndinyerere. “It is the most loved track,” he said.

Socialites Mai TT and Madam Boss hosted the event.
