Tickets to the upcoming Mi Casa concert set for 7Arts Theatre in Avondale on March 4 are now on sale at selected outlets in the capital. Mi Casa will launch their latest album “Home Sweet Home” in the country and will be supported by Mokoomba and Bryan Kadengu. Organisers of the show said the tickets are also available online.

“Ticket sales have begun and response has been quite good,” said Tonderai Mwaita of Xtratime Entertainment who are organising the show.

“Tickets are selling from Reflections Gift and Card Stores at their braches at ZB Life Towers, Avondale and Sam Levy’s village. Tickets are also available online at www.webtickets.co.zw.

“Preparations are going on smoothly and we are promising more than just a show, but a quality experience for those who love good music and entertainment just as in the same manner we delivered the Anne Kansiime show last year.”

Mi Casa graced the Harare International Festival of the Arts in 2013 and left lasting impressions. The success of their current album that has various collaborations is likely to make next month’s show exciting. “Home Sweet Home” is a double CD album packed with 25 hit tracks and features talented stars like Cassper Nyovest, Big Nuz, DJ Tira, Lady Smith Black Mambazo, Euphonik and Kenyan super group, Sauti Sol. Now operating under a new record label, 34 Music, Mi Casa entered the music arena following their debut album titled “Micasa Music” in 2011, which contained the hit single “These Streets”. It was followed by other hits such as “Heavenly Sent” and “La Vida”. The hits made the group a household name and they have toured internationally.

At the show, good performances are also expected from Mokoomba and Kadengu. Mokoomba has been outstanding on the international scene and have done a number of good shows locally while Kadengu is fast becoming a constant feature at big shows.
