MANUNURE High School have taunted rivals Guinea Fowl ahead of the Arenel Nash provincial finals at Zvishavane High School this morning.
The two teams lead the cast in the battle to represent the Midlands.
“They beat us in the Copa Coca-Cola final, with a little help from match officials,” coach Solomon Matsika said.
“We are the champions of Midlands and were the first team to bring the Copa Coca-Cola Cup.
“We want to lay our hands on the Cup.”
Manunure have two players in their squad, Justice Malunga and Victor Moyo, who play for Chrome Stars, a Division One outfit.
Malunga is a gifted midfielder whose future in football looks very bright.
Douglas Pikirayi (Jnr), the son of former Lancashire Steel goalkeeper, is also at the school and part of the team.
Jonathan Phiri and Tinashe Murisa are other key players for Manunure.
Guinea Fowl coach Jatson Maphosa is also confident that his troops will triumph.
Tournament director Mwandibvuya Mutepfa has already said he is happy with the quality of play that has been displayed in other provinces.
