MIGHTY Queens will be on revenge mission when they take on Ntutu Sparrows in a Bulawayo Province Netball League match on Saturday. Their only defeat was in the reverse fixture against Ntutu Sparrows.
High-flying Ntutu Sparrow lead the pack as they are still unbeaten with 48 points in 16 matches while their counterparts are fourth with 33 points from 12 games.
Mighty Queens are in a buoyant mood after they made light work of Sobukazi Secondary School whom they beat 41-10 in their last encounter.
Goal attacker Connie Bhuka will be expected to be at her best for Mighty Queens as she did against Sobukazi. Bhuka, who is her team’s player/coach, is optimistic that they can beat championship favourites Ntutu Sparrows.
“We have a youthful side which is determined to disappoint Ntutu Sparrows this time around,” said Bhuka.
Ntutu Sparrows coach Precious Mudenge said the morale in her camp was high.
“We are cautious about every match but we have prepared adequately. I have a good pool of players and Iam therefore positive we can still maintain our pole position,” said Mudenge.
In other matches championship chasing Railstars will play host to Old Nic Mine while Jumbo Queens will take on ZRP Ntabazinduna.
