Mini golf course in Bulawayo

.
A MINI golf course has been opened at Parklands Mall to provide people a place to interact as families.
The Amigos Mini Golf, which is an indoor golf course, is an initiative by Paresh Dhaya, who said he is passionate about sports in general, hence the idea. The place was opened at the end of February and the response from members of the public has been positive. It charges $6 per individual and there is a monthly membership option of $35.

“The main reason I decided to come up with this idea is the fact that Bulawayo is short of entertainment places. People are coming in numbers and the place is open for all age groups. Families can come and spend quality time because the atmosphere is conducive,” said Dhaya.

He said he will take it one step at a time before thinking of making it a bigger thing.

“At the moment I’m putting in place some in-store promotions to motivate those willing to play golf. The lucky draw will be next month when shops at Megawatt Park hold their exhibition fair,” Dhaya said.

He said the place was a perfect venue for corporate meetings and interaction as well as pre-school children’s parties.

“Other than football, cricket and rugby, we are giving people another option to immensely enjoy themselves. I’m optimistic that as the economy stabilises, this venture will grow and become a bigger programme,” said Dhaya.
