GOSPEL music sensation, Minister Michael Mahendere is set to perform in Mutare as part of the Messiah tour on August 30.

Speaking in an interview, he said: “We once came and faced performance difficulties due to the rainy season, but now we are back. We had been looking for a venue and we managed to settle to perform at Chancellor Primary School on August 30. The tour has seen performances in cities of Australia where it began, which include Melbourne and Perth.”

He booked the place as the venue because he would like the Messiah tour to accommodate large numbers of audiences.

Going forward, he hopes to tour the United Kingdom, Cape Town, Bulawayo, and Masvingo as part of the Messiah tour.
