Minister Munzverengwi commissions primary school blocks in Mutoko

Victor Maphosa Mashonaland East Bureau
Mashonaland East Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Senator Aplonia Munzverengwi recently commissioned two school blocks at Chitora Primary School, Mutoko which were built using devolution funds.

The two blocks are also well equipped with furniture, also procured using the same funds.

The new school is located in one of Mutoko’s low-density suburbs and will ease pressure on other existing schools around the growing Mutoko Business Centre which is now making efforts to be accorded town status.

Apart from building these primary school blocks, Mutoko Rural District Council also purchased a brand new borehole rig using part of their allocated devolution funds.
