Minister Ncube Continues Legacy Projects Tour with Visit to Cure Children’s Hospital

The Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Bulawayo Metropolitan Province, Judith Ncube, is on Wednesday continuing her inspection of key public infrastructure and development projects in the city with a visit to Cure Children’s Hospital as part of the second day of a provincial projects tour.

Among the delegates attending the tour is Bulawayo Mayor Councilor David Coltart, The tour, senior Government officials, service chiefs, JOC members and stakeholders from various sectors.

Upon arrival at Cure Children’s Hospital, Minister Ncube and her delegation were received briefings from hospital management before touring the facility to appreciate its contribution to specialised paediatric healthcare services in Bulawayo and the country at large.

The visit follows Tuesday’s first leg of the tour, during which the delegation inspected a number of strategic projects across the city.

Cure Children’s Hospital is one of Zimbabwe’s leading specialist paediatric healthcare institutions, providing surgical and rehabilitative services for children with orthopaedic conditions, neurological disorders and other treatable disabilities.

The facility serves patients from across the country and the region, offering life-changing medical interventions and rehabilitation services.

Government has consistently emphasised the importance of strengthening healthcare infrastructure as part of broader efforts to improve access to quality health services and achieve national development goals.

The provincial projects tour is expected to continue with visits to other key institutions and infrastructure projects in Bulawayo as authorities assess progress and identify areas requiring intervention to accelerate implementation.
